Beginning Quilting
8 Sessions, Thursdays, March 4 - April 22. 5:30 - 7:30pm

This is a complete quilting class. We will cover; picking fabrics, rotary cutting, machine piecing, quilting, batting, sleeves and bindings. Your quilt will be complete when class is finished.
Students should stop into the shop before class to pick out fabrics.

Beginning Free Motion Quilting
1 Session, Wednesday, January 27th, 10 - 3 pm

Learn to free motion quilt. This form of quilting allows you to finish even the largest quilts on your own machine at home. By the end of this class you will be comfortable with free motion quilting. We will complete many exercises in class. This class will also provide a wealth of information about; needles, threads, battings etc...

Free Motion Design Quilting

If you are comfortable free motion quilting and want to add some designs to your quilt repertoire this class will give you lots of ideas. Depending on interest we can stay basic or get into feathers, leaves or true stippling. I try to adapt this class to you!

ABC of Needles
1 Session, Saturday, January 30th, 10 - 2 pm

This going to be a lecture and round robin format. All you need to bring is yourself and and a notebook and pencil. I will be discussing needles. This is one subject that confuses most quilters and sewers. "How do I know which needle to use, there are so many different types?"
I will have lots of hand outs and samples and the second half we are going to sew with different types of needles and understand the differences and functions of each type of needle.

Mystery Quilt: 42" x 60

This is a 10 month project. The sample has traditional piecing & paper piecing. I don't think anyone will not like this quilt. It is scappy so it should coordinate with any decor.

We are finally ready to begin Virginia's spectacular Biblical Quilts. Each block is a symbol from the bible. This going to be a great time of fellowship as well as a great learning quilt. Virginia has chosen traditional pieced blocks, (there is an option to hand piece), paper piece and appliqué. The picture does not give justice to Virginia's hand made quilt stencils which she is going to share with you during class! Register now so we can set-up a time to pick fabrics, if you would like help!

We have so many new customers who weren't able to take advantage of Sam's project, and Sam has refused to make another scrap bag, so she is going to teach us how to make them!

This is going to be a great class! It is just the most elegant set and will really dress-up your sewing room. We will be making the sewing machine cover and the sewing machine caddy in class. We will discuss the needle case during class. If there is interest we will add it on! There is machine embroidery on these samples, but you do not need to have an embroidery machine to participate. You can use one of our machines for class, or just skip the embroidery.

This is a beautiful doily and rose set. The weight of thread used during the embroidery process determines the type of lace achieved. Crochet, delicate etc... The nice thing about this design is that there are many options available to make the doilies.

Cross Stitch Pansy Table Runner

Crochet table runners and table clothes available
For this class the table runners or table toppers are already assembled. We will be putting the cross stitch embroidery designs onto the toppers. The effect is quite awesome because the center of these toppers are ada cloth, so the samples look as if they have actually been cross stitched.

Cancellation Policy- if for some reason you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please notify us as soon as possible and we would be glad to give you a store credit. We understand that things change!
Our policy here at Paw Patch is that we do not cancel classes and we try to keep class sizes small. If a class gets too large, we will try to schedule a second class for your comfort and convenience.
